Selling a residential property can be tough. This is because of how difficult it can be to find the right real estate agent to partner with, especially one who understands why you want to sell the house.

If you’re not sure what needs changing, walk through your property and make a list of anything that could use a little more polish or replacing. Do you need to get a few new lamps or a fresh coat of paint?  How old is the cabinet hardware in the kitchen, light fixtures, and shower curtains? 

3. Find the right real estate agent

Hiring a real estate agent can be an added advantage to getting your property sold faster. Find an agent who has a track record of sales that proves he’s got the necessary experience. This would mean that they know how to sell properties fast and yours wouldn’t be an exception. 

It is necessary to ensure they are familiar with your neighborhood. You can’t market what you’re not familiar with.

Make sure he also gets a photographer for good picture quality.  It wouldn’t be a challenge to share a variety of photos on available listings, to promote your property online, and social media.

4. Negotiate the best deal

While you don’t have to under price your home for a quick sale, you do have to price it smartly. This is one of the reasons you need to have the right agent that will help you sell your property fast.

You might need to get a basic idea of what range you’re looking at, and then work with your agent to come up with a starting number that makes the most sense in light of the market and your objectives. You must have the right estate agent and be able to trust such individuals to give you the right advice.

Sometimes buyers need little push to put in an offer on your property. Why not offer some incentives to make your property stand out from the others. If the sale can go through quickly, it may qualify for reduced stamp duty.
